The organisers of Govcamp Scotland will process personal data belonging to those who register their interest, those who are allocated tickets and anyone else involved in the event (e.g. sponsors, volunteers).

This notice sets out how we’ll protect your personal data.

Who we are

‍GovCamp Scotland is a volunteer led event which brings together those who work in public services to explore ideas and ways in which we can achieve better outcomes for users of these services.

‍The volunteers who make up the Delivery team of the event are all professionals who work in the following public sector organisations.

  •                 Social Security Scotland

  •                 Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government

  •                 Digital Office for Scottish Local Government

  •                 Research Data Scotland (RDS)

‍RDS is the  data controller for the purposes of the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018) processing personal data as described in this notice.
