The organisers of Govcamp Scotland will process personal data belonging to those who register their interest, those who are allocated tickets and anyone else involved in the event (e.g. sponsors, volunteers).

This notice sets out how we’ll protect your personal data.

Lawful Basis:

  • We will only process your personal data if you have given your consent by registering your interest in the event.

  • This means we’re using the lawful basis of consent.

The types of personal information we collect:

  • Your name

  • Your email address

  • Your job title and organisation

  • Information you provide relating to any accessibility or other needs, e.g. allergies

Tools we may use to collect and process this data:

  • Google Forms

  • Eventbrite

What happens to data after the event

  • After Govcamp Scotland 2025, we’ll contact you to invite feedback on the event and to check if you’d like to be kept up to date on future events.

  • If you do not want to be contacted, we’ll remove the personal data we hold on you.

About photos and videos

  • We expect that attendees and organisers of the event will take photos and videos during it, which may be shared via social media channels.

  • Ahead of the event, we will share details on what to do if you do not wish to be photographed.
